Thank-you, Rep Hansen, for introducing this legislation. The Great Lakes are one of our country's national treasures, not to mention that they are the largest source of freshwater in the world! Since there are currently no freshwater wind farms, it is prudent to implement guidelines especially as it relates to our Great Lakes and the entire ecosystem of the lakes. We have regulations for anything which is built on land...water should not be any different!
