USGS ramps up Silver Lake diagnostic evaluation
Silver Lake, as seen from above the water and below, is currently undergoing a three-year diagnostic evaluation of the lake’s water quality by a United States Geological Survey team. Stream flow measuring equipment, left, has been in place since the fall to determine the amount of water, and ultimately nutrient loading into the lake.
